Potential Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Capital One on behalf of current and former Capital One credit card customers. C&T is investigating whether Capital One unilaterally altered the account numbers of its customers’ credit card accounts without notifying them of the change. After allegedly changing its customers’ credit card numbers, Capital One reportedly failed to accept timely made payments from these customers as a result of an internal computer error. As a consequence, certain Capital One customers may have been charged improper late fees and finance charges.
