Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of owners and lessees of model years (MY) 2005-2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and 2006-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid vehicles. These hybrid vehicles may suffer from a design defect in which the “Motor Electronics Cooling System” (MECS) pump within the vehicle fails prematurely. This may cause the vehicle to exhibit a “High Motor Temperature” and/or a “Red Triangle” display warning light.
