Hotel Housekeeper -- Overtime
Potential Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential collective action lawsuit on behalf of hotel housekeepers. With certain exceptions, the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") requires that employees be paid for overtime for any work in excess of 40 hours in a week. C&T is investigating whether certain hotels are denying overtime payments to housekeepers, in violation of the FLSA and various state laws.
